Monica Speach

Monica Speach, author of PACE, earned her undergraduate degree in Romance Languages from Fairfield University. She received her Master of Arts degree in Education and has worked in education with students from grades K-college. Her background includes teaching English as a Second Language,Spanish, and homeschooling her own children for eleven years.
In recent years, her work has centered on issues of civic responsibility, volunteerism and character education. The PACE curriculum is a direct result of her research and ongoing interest in the growing field of character education.
